Started out of necessity for a specialist Subaru dismantler in the Bay of Plenty area, Subie Doo Spares has quickly grown into one of the most well-respected specialist Subaru dismantlers in the country.
Since 2018, we’ve provided quality parts and vehicles to customers across the Bay of Plenty and the rest of New Zealand. Subie Doo Spares started as a passion project. As a result, we operate with the ethos of service and quality above all else. Even with the scale at which we operate now, we strive to uphold that same ethos we started with. It’s what made us successful from the start, and it’s what keeps us up there with the top-dogs.
We live and breathe Subaru.
Boss-man Jeremy’s car is evidence of this, “to talk the talk, you’ve got to walk the walk”, as they say. We believe Jeremy’s car, appropriately named “SUBIDO”, indeed shows off the best of what we can do.
Starting life as a pre-facelift 3.0R wagon in a fairly desirable specification, the team at Subie Doo (and a few mates) have come together to build something truly one of a kind. From pre to post-facelift swapping the interior and front clip, to the upgraded 355mm 6 pot brakes, even to the entire Cusco underbody bracing catalogue (not to mention the super-charger), there’s little in this car that’s remained untouched. If we were to list all the changes we’d need a whole other website.
This car, and the way Jeremy has built it, shows off the best of what we can do, and it’s the way we aim to do things around here. Otherwise, why would it wear the name “SUBIDO”?
Our Facility
Subie Doo Spares has been built to the kind of standard you’d expect of a best-in-class dismantler/specialist. From a fully enclosed workshop with two vehicle hoists, to an enclosed storage area and additional yard space for vehicles yet to be processed, we’re kitted out to ensure Subie Doo Spares runs like a well-oiled machine.
We keep a number of vehicles in our yard ready to go, as well as a healthy inventory of parts to ensure you won’t be leaving empty-handed! Our workshop is also well-stocked and tooled to handle all kinds of jobs, plus, we always keep an ample supply of OEM Subaru hardware, so you can rest assured knowing anything we fit will be fitted correctly with the right nut, bolt, or clip.
Our abundance of covered storage areas means that as soon as a vehicle has been processed, critical components are kept dry and out of the weather. They’ll be ready for you in as good a condition as when they came out of the donor vehicle.
